sicker than your average January 8th, 2009
Last night saw the New York premiere of the eagerly anticipated story of the life and death of Christopher Biggie Wallace: Notorious. As one MTV reporter put it, with a guestlist including Biggie’s mum, Diddy, Faith Evans, Junior MAFIA, Jay-Z, NaS, Busta, Beyonce, Ciara, Jadakiss, Fabolous, and Russell Simmons, the only person missing was BIG himself. The film was deemed to have exceeded expectations, a fitting hommage to BIG, and true to form the after party at Roseland Ballroom went on until the early hours of this morning. It was said to have been like a scene out of Biggie’s life, with Faith Evans claiming it was like 1995 all over again.
…and if you’re wondering why the picture is of Jay-Z arriving at the premiere, not a shot of The Notorious, the answer is just because.
