I’m no music critic and I damn sure aren’t about to pick now to start acting like one – but things are getting more and more interesting on the UK music scene. Skanking has taken some funky twists of late, with everything from the Rolex Sweep to the Head/Shoulders, Tribal Skank and now the Migrane Skank gracing dancefloors – and carparks [see videos] – across the land. This latest offering from T Boy embraces the ever-increasing funkiness of the new dances, with a comic twist. Commentary on the video has centred on the girl at 3:05, T Boy doing it for the African boys, and unsurprisingly the comedy intro ["after going low you want me to go high again - what's wrong with your life?"] but surely the chick with a frying pan [at 2:44] has got to be worth a mention, as well as the fact the whole video was shot on and around campus? It’s mad funny and the track is catchy to say the least. Plus the boys at 4:20 – with their fish slap dance – are practically worth watching it for alone…
