It’s time for some technology. Or reverse technology to be precise. This feature is definitely one to polarise, and I’m not going to sit on the fence. Yes it’s fair to say that by actually using one of these you run the risk of looking like a cross between an ’80s businessman and a BT technician, but at the same time there is something about it that makes you want one. With guest artist collaborations also available [see Eliza from Hong Kong, below], Yubz phones are almost irresistible. Perhaps it’s the fact they evoke a nostalgia towards the janky telephones of years gone by, or maybe it’s just the sleek lines and juxtaposition of the latest technology with an icon of a bygone era that does it, but whatever the answer – these get the thumbs up from us. With the help of a simple adaptor [included] they plug straight into your mobile phone – or PC – and apparently their are many many benefits to using one, beyond the fact they’re radiation free…
