The [really] beautiful game April 28th, 2011
There is something magical about El Clasico, and never more so than when you have two of the most revered managers in the game going head to head. I will always love José for what he did for Chelsea – and hope that some day Pep may get a bite at the cherry. But for now, their rivalry continues to be played out in Spain, and forms one of the greatest sporting shows on Earth.
To see The Special One get taken to the cleaners in such spectacular style earlier in the season was memorable – but now thanks to the animation of Richard Swarbrick, we need not rely on memory alone. This needs no introduction really: it is simply breathtaking [helped by the music from Ludovico Einaudi]. I never knew something so beautiful could come from a Spurs fan…

fool’s cold April 6th, 2011
Marmite do like to launch products that fall outside of their traditional heartland [like chocolate, or cereal bars] but this latest concept is surely a step too far? The fact it dropped on 1st April suggests it’s more likely the doing of some Photoshop wizkid with an overactive imagination and too much time on their hands, than a particularly ambitious marketeer at Marmite, but I could be wrong…
